I'll know tomorrow. First impression is that it'll be fine.

 

I've been looking for something nicer than a TV tray to hone with while sitting in my comfy chair. Last weekend I looked through IKEA and found a couple of goodies. This table works fantastic. It's high enough and the legs pull under the chair without hitting my legs. I also picked up this plastic tote to hold my honing gear.
It was a nice afternoon honing a few razors

Picked up some fragrances today. I've been looking for an Oud scent to go with my Saponificio Varesino Arctic Tundra soap and finally found one, JPD Oud Noir. I also picked up this Sephora cologne sample pack. 12 different samples and a coupon for a full sized bottle of my favorite of the bunch. Excellent deal and a way to try before you buy.

 

Stirling summer menthol choices! Got a soap sample of Iced Pineapple, Grapefruit with menthol, and Glacial Lemon Chill. Ordered an aftershave sample to match those three scents and then also Bergamot Lavender. Everything smells great! The Grapefruit is a deep, complex scent and not just straight grapefruit.

The Arkadia bath soap was the free sample. I love how Rod always throws in a sample of something.

 

Just scored these

GEM Damaskeene cases. I already had a Damaskeene but not in this good of shape, nor did I have a case. The same shop also had this brush. The knot will clean up nice. Plan on a restore of the handle.

Backbone is fantastic, I used Stirling soap and had no issues at all. The one thing that stood out was the amount of lather this knot holds. A ton! The knot is very packed, the picture doesn't do it justice.

Thanks for the review. Now I have another brush I have to convince my wife I need. I blame SBAD. At least it's more socially acceptable then using crack.

Not shaving related, but I sold all my Nikon gear and picked up this little gem of a camera! EM10 mark ii. It is fantastic!

Shaving related, I got a few soap samples from Connaught. 1912 Scottish Heather (I love the smell), and another I can't remember, but I will not be using...smells nasty to me.
