Part of a $25 ebay lot. 1902 Kampfe Bros/Star. Shaves great. Also had a 4 piece german travel razor missing the smallest part of the handle and some worthless to me electric clipper heads.

That's funny. I have two of the metal cased German travel razors. One complete, but head is majorly pest. The other has a good head, but is missing the _largest_ part of the handle.

Good choices!! That's my weekly Friday software setup. I got that combo from a video that @Cap7597 did a while back. He remarked in the video "What's a week of shaving without the Fat?". I tend to agree. Great stuff!

BTW, I din't see this mentioned. It's not an Old Type its a New Improved. I'm not sure if that case is a match , but I don't think so. Gorgeous clean up!

I vote flat top badger though the Cashmere looks nice too, but ascetically, natural handle looks best with natural bristles. Just my opinion.

There are a lot antique stores, and I find a ton of SE and straights but Im a DE for now. Whenever I find brushes they usually are 15-20 bucks sometimes more and not in the best shape. Find them for <10 every now and then.

Oh ok. I generally pay 10 to 15 bucks for the ones i find but i only buy ones that are in good shape.

To me if i can pay 10 bucks for the handle and another 10 to 15 for a knot im happy. 20 to 25 bucks for a piece of history and a good time is pretty cheap imo.

If I can get them under 10 Im fine with a rebuild. Just sucks to find a handle in nice shape but needs reknoted and they want 20 or they want 45 bucks for one in good shape.

Stole this for 3 bucks but that's rare where I live.[IMG]

Yea i agree. Ive seen people ask 25 to 40 bucks for a old brush in bad shape.

If i can get them for less than 15 im happy. I like to stay around 10 bucks but if i really like it ill go a little higher.
