Sorry gentlemen, there is one less Escher in the wild. Stopped at a Wednesday flea market that I have not been to in a while. Found this beauty, a 7 x 1 1/2 of blue-green goodness. Could not give the dealer my money quick enough
I hauled, courtesy of @rmcintyre84 . A very nicely made magnetic tool to hold razors while working on them. Also a was blessed with a straight razor. The razor is a B W Middlebrooks 5/8 full hollow round end from Chicago. I assume it to be a hardware store variety. Thank you so much for your generosity.
Looks like I'll be taking another "South African Shaving Journey" again! Mail call just before: 1x RVT Lemon Cream SS 1x RVT The Cabin SS 1x RVT Dark Lime SS 1x RVT Midnight Lime SS Do they ever look and smell awesome!
Had a good day! Picked up the shave cups including a shulton cup with never used soap still in the box at a local junk shop. And a Schick krona came in the mail from an unnamed auction site. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Awesome score. I’ll admit I’m a tad jealous. With what that price tag says the police might be looking for you. Lol
Came in over the past few days ... As some of you may know I was looking over these blades I saw on Craig's list. No picture, just saying Grant, Super Stainless Steel Razor blades, made in Israel and ... quantity 450. Well I decided to pick them up and as I was talking to him (he was about 70) he told me they had cleaned out his uncles house and saved these, but threw out a mess of old razors and shaving brushes. I felt sick; so I ended up leaving him my number. I received a Simplex in trade from @wchnu, bought a nice Gimbel's butterscotch brush (a keeper), a Russian travel razor and a wicked potato peeler.
I'm on a Sudsy roll and had to try the new Rain products. I ordered the complete Rain set consisting of: - Rain Supercreamed Mango Butter Shave Soap for Shaving, with Honey and Russian Blue Clay - Rain Deodorant, Aluminum Free - Rain, Creamy Aftershave Balm Hemp Seed & Mango with Witch Hazel I also threw in a couple of soaps that looked interesting: - Black Soap Made in Africa - Sandalwood and Citrus with Charcoal and Cocoa Soap 3/4" Bar As an added bonus I also received a free sample of their new hair conditioner. But I must say, things did not go as planned. First I noticed a billing error. I sent an email to SS, and almost immediately they responded, acknowledged the mistake, and adjusted the invoice. Today when I received my package and started taking pictures to post, I noticed that the Rain Balm & Deodorant seemed identical. Looking closer at the lids, I realized they looked the same because both were balms. Again I sent a note to SS and literately almost as soon as I hit the send button on my computer, SS responded stating that they would send the deodorant immediately, apologizing for the error. To me, that is outstanding customer service. I realize that as a relatively small business, they must have worked hard to get all these orders out quick to their eager customers. It is unfortunate, but mistakes happen - we are all human. Nevertheless, like the quality of their products, they did what was right and fixed the concern admirably. It is just one example that just illustrates the integrity of the SS company and the folks behind the brand. I strongly urge those who have not tried their products to give them a spin. I found everything a tried to be outstanding! Steve
Seems today was package day! A package from shave nation containing some soap (a stick of arko and they tossed in a free stick of derby) a 100 pack of astra blades and some Ogallala bay rum deo. then two packages from the bay a very nice ever ready with a wooden handle and then a package which had some old Williams and a brush that makes me think some people don't know what New In Box actually means. but I'm trying not to be sour about it I love fixing stuff so it'll be a surprise project Sent from my SM-N915V using Tapatalk
