I bought them on Amazon for something like $12.40 for 40 blades. Free delivery with Prime. I can use my Discover awards on Amazon and actually received the package for free!

A few bits and a puzzle:
A Gillette Tuckaway. Razor in good shape but case a little scuffed.

    Then a Schick Hydro-Magic 500. Is this a J3 ?

A new shave cream to try:

Finally, a puzzle. Is this a 'Frankenrazor' or a UK only Long-Comb New with a Fat Tech Handle?

As you can see, I've got two so a bit of a trend developing.

I think it's legit and not a Frankenrazor. As for the UK-only part, I'd say UK-manufactured but quite possibly for the French market, as well.

The Brits definitely liked making OC razors, even making an OC-variant of the 60's Tech (usually found at ridiculous prices under the Nacet brand).

I would think actually older than that. Most Sheffield razors were stamped with "Sheffield England" on the blades after 1891. Prior to that it wasn't required. So I think this is either a non-export model, intended to stay in England, or it was made before 1891. @HolyRollah loves Sheffield steel, and might have a better idea. BTW, the bevel on this looks like it has been recently honed. I agree that if you wanted to polish it you could, but you could also use as is once the edge is checked.

I found these images on @mr-razor's site for sets similar to your, but they are Techs. Sorry for the first one, only way to get it.

Saw the irresistible sign on my way home from work today (estate sale). And it may not be a complete steal, $30 for all 3 isnt to bad.

Thanks for the feedback on the OC with the Fat Tech handle. They are marked Made in England but not shown on the amazing Mr Razor site so I thought they must be 'wrong uns'.

The soap is unused and smells waaaay different than the current aftershaves on the shelf! At $30 I hope the soap is still usable!
