Thanks to @PanChango for the Rose garden in the mail. He passed along so rose soaps that did not agree with his skin. I love rose scented shave goodies. Thanks to @ordinaryshaver for the loan of some Nivea cream. He also sent me a straight raxor and shavette. Awesome guy there.
Mail call today was a good one. A Slim Aristocrat that I really couldn't tell in what overall shape it was in. But for the price of a decent Slim, it was worth the gamble as it cleaned up pretty good. Only minor plate loss on the blade guards and doors. Now the next part, it's case, which will probably cost more than the razor itself............. As received............... After a little soaking in dish soap and water................
NEW INFO. British #70 Set. UK seller (Mike) advised that the razor was his grandfather 's (Roger a WWII Vet) and he received as a retirment gift in 1965 from his employer. Mike said Roger was some what eccentric and did not use the razor (or other gifts) as he was afraid of damaging them. Mike said they found other unused items in Rogers house. Roger passed at 92. Razor is all Nickel plated. 10 Brit blade dispenser from the same time frame substituted for the 20 blade dispenser that normally came with the set. [ATec·cen·tricTACH]165722[/ATTACH]
