A nice little Haul (menthol, that is!) 1x Mama Bear Awakenings shaving soap 1x Mama Bear Lemon Ice shaving soap
Went to an antique mall with my wife and friends today. Here's my haul Labeled as English Gillette 1963 $8. It matches my '62 travel tech do I had to get it. There was no date code on it though. Found this a couple booths away. And some homemade shave soap. Not a huge fan of it. Not to great a lather. And I found these, I didn't pick them up today because I didn't know if it was worth it. Overall a pretty good day.
O.K. I normally don't name my razors, but this one is an exception. To do the honor of naming my latest razor ... Dame Shirley Bassey!
Finally received the delivery I have been waiting for since April - 720 of my favourite razor blades! That should last a while, like, decades...
After three days in customs I finally received my package from Germany While taking this cell phone pic it occurred to me that anyone seeing me would think me mad. Either for taking pictures of soap or for stockpiling soap. Luckily the den is full of people who understand.
I sincerely doubt that anyone around here would find you mad for either thing. More like admiration or jealous.
Yep, i bought three myself as a stockpile. It's not my #1 soap, but it's amongst my favorites and a darn shame that it's been discontinued.
My haul; Made Rite Boar 150 (from the Travel Box) Don Marco Aftershave Balm TSD Lemongrass (from the Travel Box) RazoRock Cumba Cheech Pre` de Provence (from the Travel Box) RazoRock Don Marco The two new RazoRock soaps smell fantastic. I'm still waiting on a Semogue Owners Club.
Thanks! Believe it or not but, although I am rather close to Japan, I had to get these babies through a vendor in Europe. That had the advantage that the order was VAT-free ;-) Suddenly these blades taste sweet!
I know how that feels. All my deliveries are shipped to the office and I usually unwrap and take pictures there as well. After 2 years with me, my secretary thinks I am bananas. Luckily there's the TSD Support Group where we feel understood, right?
