I noticed the same thing.. I had forgotten and just used it

 

I need more inventory and I need more money.. so like they always say... you got to spend money to make money. Lol the wifey is aware of my purchases. And besides I'm just showing you all my wares.... what a great way to advertise ...

I've shopped out all my close by stores. Still visit to look for new inventory. Being away from home and having a tendency to wander, I planned my rest stops for The Hunt using a Yellow Pages app and GPS.
I forget if I was on I-85 going west, or I-65 headed south, but somewhere in Alabama is a glass case with a sign,
" Single edge razors $4.00
Double edge razors $6.00"

 

Lucky...I'm making it a point to stop in more antique stores of late. After I found my Boker straight and Gillette Slim in one, I've been on the hunt. I have found lots of straights, but most were in too rough of a condition to be worth buying. I've found a few mugs, a few brushes. Even then most of the brushes have been pretty gross.

 

Hmmm....I live in Alabama. I need to know where that place was!!

Where do you guys find all of these fun toys?
There has to be somewhere else besides ebay.

 

Some people have luck at antique stores or estate sales. Some people have better luck and flea markets.. some on etsy and eBay. I haven't had much luck at antique stores. I've seen a couple of items here and there, but nothing that great. Some people have found hidden gems.

And the mailman brought this from Greece:



These two are pretty unique: The Olympian is a special editon for the German Wet Shaving Forum and the Greek Skinos is usually a vegan soap, but Fokion made a batch for us with Tallow and Lanolin.

I cant wait....I will be testing it out tonight for sure, first impression is very very good as size/weight/design/look are better then I could have hoped for...but, it all comes down to how it shaves.
