My Jayaruh brush arrived! Included with JR #60 was a boar brush with an equally beautiful handle. Can't wait to try these out!
Looks Like Someone has Ground the Heel Off that One for Whatever Reason..Probably Damaged..SRs with a Heel Design Like that are Typically Not Shouldered like that One.. Billy..
I spent a little too much time on line this month. I bought some old razors: I bought some not quite as old razors: I am checking out some SE's And a couple of brushes: That'll give me some stuff to play with in the next month or so. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Arrived today, Gillette Sheraton from a trade with @twhite . It is a beautiful specimen. I got it cleaned up, and it will go into service tomorrow. Tom also included this Gillette Travel Tech, T3. Thanks for the October surprise, Tom. Lastly, I got a five pack of Dorco Comfort Twin II for my newly acquired Gillette Atra. I will slip in a shave with it sometime in November. These blades look very good. There is lots of room for rinsing. I hope it shaves well, too. They would never replace my DE, SE, Injector razors, but as far as I remember, they were a great cartridge.
Rocking haul today. First is a JR#90 with a Tuxedo knot. Man is this thing soft Next is a totally cherry French straight. Near wedge. This will be going out to Glen for a proper hone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had a pretty good haul earlier this month, I bought my wife a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. Needless to say anything I buy now (shaving) is A-OK..
Picked up this G8. There don't seem to be many of these with the handle in good shape. I have a spot saved for him in the rack. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
The Gillette Tech, my October Surprise, cleaned up really well. It is a T3. It is my Wedding Year/Quarter. 1973.
Singing the Pharrell Happy song. I ran into a gent who used to have a RAD and he is liquidating over 200 straight razors. I was the second guy to meet up with and there some red points and dubl's I saw on his craigslist add. The red points were gone and thdubl's didn't crank my fancy as much as these did To me these were the pick of his stash. If not NOS, they were maybe shaved with once. There is zero rust, pitting and the Filarmonica has a layer of dried oil on it Now I need a strop and some stones. Before I place a stone to any of these I plan on practicing on 2 of my 3 antique'rs I bought a while back I'm happy...clap along if you know what happiness is to you, because I'm happy Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
