I've been using the SE1 and SE2 with a Schick Proline blade and they are two of the best razors I've ever used. The MMOC has been my exclusive head razor for some time. I haven't shaved my head in a week and a half, was shaving daily, and haven't used it on my face for some time. It was extremely hard not to use the ATT SE1/Schick Proline today, but I fought through the pain and agony and popped a new GEM SS PTFE blade in the MMOC and shaved my face for, as usual, an outstanding BBS face shave. The MMOC is one of the best razors ever made. While I don't consider it better than the ATT SE1, they both are razors that all others are measured against.
It is a fantastic razor. It's one I know I'll always use (among several others that may come and go!) Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
The Gem OCMM is the Same Set Up in Terms of Aggressivness as the Gem Clog Pruf..The Gem Clog Pruf was Really the Closed Comb/Bar Guard Version of the OCMM..The Clog Pruf is Far Easier to Use for that Reason & that's Why they Made the Changes.. Billy..
I spent a bunch of time with the OCMM in the past and recently picked it up again for a couple 30 day foci. It's a great razor if you like the thicker SE blades and once figured out, but is less than forgiving if you lose focus.
Love my MMOC (and Clog-Pruf)!! To think, it spent months on the shelf because I was too intimidated to use it, it's now in my weekly rotation. Treat it with respect, mind the blade angle, feather light touch and it'll yield spectacular results. Did a 30 day focus on my Gem SEs a few months back and it really taught me how to handle these razors. Time VERY well spent.
I agree that the MMOC is an excellent razor and mine has been in the rotation since I acquired it over two years ago. I always get great shaves from mine.
