I tried this for the second time this morning. However, the full bowl of Tabac slipped out of my hand and crashed into the sink. Soap is fine, Tabac bowl is fine, even the sink survived. But it was loud and not good for my calm. Seeing that I keep all my soaps in glass or ceramic containers.... maybe it isn't worth the chance of breaking glass at 4 in the morning.

I just tried the upside down method. Very good results but need to try the other way tomorrow with same set up. I used a cheap $13 omega boar brush with MWF. 4 passes without reloading at all! This is a new brush so will have to test it out in other scenarios. Bottom line though was a damn good shave! I dont like that fact that you are swirling blind though. Small issue but you keep trying to peek underneath!

Mark, this is great, another tip to try out. Was just thinking how the soap lather I had this morning felt too 'airy' compared to the cream lathers I've been predominantly having this winter.

Believe it or not I actually have access to Howvids, but I see it's in Beta so who knows for how long it will last. Anyway I found Marks vids, but nothing about upside down shaving. Tried the search engine and got some kid doing skateboard tricks!
