The first is what I believe is called a Somerset Tuckaway... I like the look of the thick handle and different knurling. The second is just an open comb but is in very nice condition. Both have boxes and blade holders. What's a good price for these? Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
They are good prices as both will usually sell for more at Ebay. But you can always try for a combo deal, wouldn't hurt to ask.
Those are very good prices, a nice Tuckaway set can easily go for $60 and you can almost guarantee any Gillette set with a case to be at $30 minimum.
DO NOT BUY! But please give me the name and address of the Antique store so I can go down there and talk to them about their outrageous prices...
The tuckaway is a great shaver. I love mine, but i sorta like shorter handles (with a few exceptions).
Or I could just buy it and ship it to you. I dont think Im ready for an open comb but at the same time I really like the handle on it. Thats what caught my attention. Most everything I've seen is the boring cross checkering ball ends. I was excited to see something different. Ever-Ready 1912 MMOC Schick eversharp Gem Frankenrazor with Gillette handle (looks like a star base and top) Another gem I've not used the first and third. But the mmoc is a very aggressive single edge (and their built like tanks).

Two things. Don't let an open comb scare you. No different then using any other razor. Open comb does not equal monster razor at all. Two watch out for those single edge and injectors. Once you try one your DE stuff might get lonley.
