Wait until you get to my age, it's really silly how many different of this and that we have.
Boy I wish I could go back and do this TWS thing again, I buy blades on a wimp, good price is hard to beat.

Since math is not my forte I will take your word for it. I don't have too many blades!

 

My philosophy is simple if you have the space you simply CANNOT have too many blades in either quantity or type.

 

Blades are like money in the bank, but the money has left the account already.

I feel ashamed as I'm sitting on 800 DEs, 200 SEs and maybe 100 injector blades. My blade consumption went down when I started using SRs.

 

Consider these questions....

Can an avid reader have too many books?
Can a fisher(wo)man have too many fishing lures?
Can a stamp collector have too many stamps?
Can a shooting competitor have too much ammunition?
Can new parents have too many pictures of their newborn baby?

If you answer "no" to each of these questions then you know the answer to: Can a wet shaver have too many blades?

 

I have about 12 magazines of Schick injector blades, one magazine of Personna Twinjector (vintage), about 20 GEM SE blades, some Artist Club blades (maybe 20 at the most) and a smattering of Personna Lab Blues that are leftover from my DE days. That's plenty for now! Since I use injectors 95% of the time I am set for a while.

 

When the shavepocalypse happens, you'll need something to barter with, stock up all you can!

 

And this ain't all of them.

 

I just ordered 100 injector, 100 gem, and 100 de blades.

I already had 200 de blades too.


I will probably list some on eBay...this thread makes me realize I have too many

 

I hopefully need about 2500 ~ 3000 blades. I only have a few hundreds now.

 

I keep a running blade inventory. Figure I now have a 15 year supply based on my daily shaves and blade longevity (7 great shaves from my main blades) Just got the 7 O'Clocks yesterday and used one this morning.

I love blades. I love hoarding blades. Especially blades I have never heard of.
I barely managed to contain myself when I read about the new Derby Platinum & Dorco Prime blades.
Apparently they are quite good and I had a 100 pack of each in my ebay basket. But the dark side was with me and I managed to withstand the temptation.

Now these Tian Li blades are also new to me...
