I was expecting more of a scent punch from the first part of the name, but such was not the case. Not saying that's good or bad, just an observation. It's a nice blend. No objections. I still think it's fun getting a surprise in the soaps you put out!
Really, I can still smell it on me, even after applying aftershave... I wonder what scents you are used too. Maybe I got a bigger portion of the scent oils?
I didn't mean the overall scent was weak, I meant I was expecting more of the patchouli to punch through. I like the blend and how it works together. As with all of JoAnna's soaps, I can usually catch a whiff throughout the day.
Gotcha, I guess I do not know what patchouli smells like on its own. :O I will have to work on rectifying that.
I've really enjoyed my first ever SOTQ (E1), coincidentally the same model fatboy I use. A good scent that's not overwhelming. Looking forward to E2
Well I just signed up for the SOTQ and I can't wait - this seems to be neater than a rooster with socks!
I used it this morning. Looked like batter in a bowl. It's a scent like this that really makes shaving fun!
I got home from a trip to a box of goodies from TSD Shop. In it was the most awesome smelling soap. I have a feeling I'll have coffee when I shave with this one -
just got home from a trip to find my package here...My wife had gotten it out of the mail box and it had melted and leaked into the package. I guess this stuff doesn't handle the heat out West well in that package - it smells great, but I'll have to do some scraping and repackaging before I use it! Hey, it's a project and us guys always like a project, right?
