I've used and enjoyed several Edwin Jagger DE 89 series razors for years, but am curious what reasonably priced upgrades might improve my shaving experience. Please share some suggestions that you think I should consider. Thanks!

I personally found the Rockwell to be a better feeling razor than the Edwin. And the stainless 6S is much better quality. You also have a whole lot of adjustability. I've also heard good things about the stainless Razorock Mamba and Game Changer..which will soon be back in production...

I like the timeless razor for a modern and the Gillette tech or fatboy for a vintage razor. Tech's usually cost 10-20, fatboys 45-60, and timeless razors are in the 200 range

I'm with @TobyC and @Straight razor dandy on the pre war Tech ... modest price and great shave. I would add to the mix with an English Flare ... six months and I still haven't gotten tied of it.
