I don't think it portends anything re: the future of mass wetshaving; just found it interesting. Still very overpriced, imo, but old Gillettes and others have spoiled me.
its always amazing to me what is "hiding" in plain sight...even that razor at that price can change anyones shaving for the rest of there lives, and most dont even know it.
Well, that razor brought me down the road of all sorts of DEs (modern and mostly vintage) SEs, injectors and SRs. I'm never going back to cartridges!
My starter razor also. Stayed away from the blades though. Bought a tuck of Wilkinson Classics from Bed Bath and Beyond, Bigelow from Bath and Body Works, a VDH brush from Shoprite(grocery store) and a glass bowl from Dollar Tree. I was in business. And the rest, as they say is history.
