Hey all, I am assembling a couple of additional Shulton scented sets and was wondering if there is a scent equivalent for Burley??? For the vintage OS Lime scent I bought the modern shave cream paste in a tube from India called "Fresh Lime". There is a scent called "Musk" among the Indian-made Old Spice shave cream in a tube. It's not easy completing vintage sets of things.
Don't know if there was ever a Burley soap but there was an Avon Oland soap, and I do believe Oland was intended to copy Burley. Bar soap, but tallow, lathered up fine. That's what I would aim for. I don't recall ever seeing Avon make a lime soap but they did make them for Windjammer and Tai Winds which might complement the lime.
To my knowledge they did not make a Burley soap puck. Shave cream in a can, bar soap, talc, and deodorant. India made Shulton Musk is not a match for Burley.
