    I just received this beautiful Omega 81569 Boar Brush with a restored and beefed up handle from fellow member Enrico. Thank you again kind sir! It is my first boar and I love it.

    I have some mahogany and other leather dye Ive used on rifle stocks but not sure how this wood will take it.

    Depend on the effect your going for ...
    The vintage look with an ebony or oil staining into the grain of the wood the a nice oil finish. Like an old tool with patina.
    A clear finish to look like NOS.
    A custom coloring achieved in various ways such as stain, dye or ink.

    Viewing the lettering is faded, I think a nice badger knot and the vintage look ... very hipster. Will sell well if you so desire.
