What is meant by a barbershop scent?

It's better than the 80's, where the whole of anywhere a woman was smelled of Aqua-Net.

So, Arko is a 'barbershop' smell? People keep telling me it's "urinal puck", and I think it just smells like "Clean room".

 

I say that the Arko stick is soapy-scented. No frills, just a clean, soapy scent.

 

Could it be anything like a bunch of sweaty rum drinking old men it a poorly ventilated room?

 

Background of my family and where they're from is Scots, Irish, and German. They'd be a bunch of sweaty whiskey and beer drinking old men in a poorly ventilated room.

No, I might know what that smells like and Arko is not that. Despite the reputation the scent is nice IMO and above all it's a great performer. My travel bag soap stick, along with Tabac stick.

 

Smells like Ivory Bath Soap to me.

To me, that would be the "Lysol" shaving cream.
