I chopped down the first of many trees in my back yard with my newly acquired Gransfors bruk double bit felling axe soon to be followed by SR shave, haircut, and wild game dinner at my church tonight.
Drove in on and off white out conditions for 45 minutes to take my daughter to Taekwondo training for preparations for upcoming tournament.....
Had fun sighting in a new Nikon Monarch 3 4-16x42 scope on my 7mm-08. I used my tried and true load with the 140 gr. Barnes TTSX's. It shot a .401" group at 100 yds. Too much fun.........now for some more hogs!
Let's see, first went up on the roof did I mention its minus 30 here! We had an ice dam below a skylight. Had to shovel the roof and put some salt down and remove some ice. Then I cleaned a few guns and did some reloading. Helped my wife make bread and re arrange the living room and bought a new larger TV. Busy day!
it's quite simple Steve, you walk into Starbucks with $10 walk out with a cup of plain black coffee. Lol
I'll let @Ryan B explain - doesn't get much manlier! $10 - sheesh. Glad I'm not overly snobbish about where I get my coffee. Guess 20 years of military coffee makes one even think a cup from Micky D's isn't all that bad.
Yeah, I knew what you were gettin' at. You're absolutely right. Buying my own green beans to roast, I know they're charging for a cup close to what I pay per pound.
Well, I just boil water on the stove, pour coffee in the pot, let it boil, turn the stove off, let the grounds settle to the bottom, pour it into a cup and drink it. If only I had a fire pit, then it would be just like we did it when I would go camping.
