I used some oven-bake clay to make a small display stand. Then, I used my bench-grinder to smooth out the edges. (I love power tools!)
The wife is out of town again on business - Australia this time. She doesn't care for ribs - so I took the opportunity to do up a mess of St Louis style ribs in the smoker. Spent the better part of the day yesterday tending to the smoker but the reward at supper time was worth it. First photo are the ribs rubbed down waiting for the smoker to get up to temperature. Second photo shows them in the smoker after about 4 hours. Last photo is a final glaze of a Carolina vinegar based sauce and ready to eat. Messy but so good.
I saved over $4500, by adjusting the Bands on my trucks transmission, myself. It wasn't shifting well from first to second gear, and I was told by several tranny shops that it probably needs a rebuild, or swap for another tranny, since it has 170,000 miles on it. I researched the symptoms on YouTube, and it was a quick 10 minute fix. It now shifts like it did New.
Didn't happen today, but I spent Friday and Saturday cleaning up my yard. There was a whole winter's worth of dead branches, leaves and other assorted crap. The Aleve and Rum bottles both got a workout too. Going back to work today to get some rest.
I snapped a Grizzly Bear in the headlock for getting into my bird feeder. Drug him to the woods and kicked him in the arse. Well if PEI had bears here, that's what I'd do. It was a raccoon and I couldn't catch him. I did take out the trash though.
I shaved with Weishi + Derby after 2 days and got away with 0 irritation. If you think it's a joke, you 're wrong. Try it and you will understand.
I understand. Mild razors are mild and safe, but require focus and technique for maximum results. Nice work!
