I thought it would be interesting to see what phrases, other members find irritating.
    Two for me are:
    1. "My bad". This one is my most annoying ones. Seriously? Does this make any sense to anyone?
    2. "It is what it is". I can't explain it, it just annoying.

And yes, I've had a lot of coffee today.

"No problem..." (usually in response to a thanks— there was a thread on this very topic not too long ago... ;))
"Karma!" (usually in response to something good or bad happening.)
"God helps those who help themselves" (not Biblical; attributed to Ben Franklin)
"Like she goes "I'm so sure he like you!" and I'm like, "Duh!" and she's like "Whatever!" (or any combination of words in a phrase where "like" is used constantly)

Plenty of coffee for me today as well!

    "Skill set"
Either a person has the skills for a particular task, or he/she does not.

As for "my bad," I just see it as an acknowledgement of error by the person who said it. I'd rather have that than the person play the blame game.

I don't think I have a phase that bothers me to much. Attitudes are what eat me up.

People who can't/won't pronounce Caribbean correctly. It's not Care-a-be-an folks, it's Ca-rib-be-an. Makes me want to do something nasty to those who mess it up.

    "Whatever"

This is wrong in so many ways.

Happy to say I don't use any of the above. Even when it is "my bad" , I just say "it was my fault".

Texting phrases used outside of texting or people speaking in a manner that they use in texting. I get it people!! It's easier to abbreviate or send letters instead of words... But to use them in actual verbal conversation makes me want to " karate chop to the throat" you!

I get slightly annoyed when people replace emojis with text, laughing, but I really shouldn't let it get to me, smileyface.
What really grinds my gears, is the use of the word "sheeple". I can't take people using that word seriously (including my own father). It's the same with derogatory nicknames for politicians and other things they don't agree with - e.g. "Odumba" "libtard" and republithug".
