Freshly restored and honed. Nothing like a hundred year old blade!

Tonight's shave was with an old Wedge, 150+ yrs or so. I haven't shaved with this in a while, and found it to be a super sharp razor. I had a very smooth two pass shave, with smooooth results. This is a fun on to shave with, especially since it was a rust bucket when I bought it.

This is the second shave in a row with the Black Jack. It was tugging Sone yesterday, so I put a few strokes on the Swaty bh before today's shave. Better, but it could shave a little smoother and closer. I have the Norton 4/8k soaking now. I'll re-hone without messing with the bevel.

Had a stellar shave with my French near wedge. My little 16mm finest did a great job too.

I already posted in the SOTD thread but I will toss this here as well. I see from the rest of the thread I need to get my blade and scales polished up.

No need to clean it up, as long as it shaves you are golden.

Tonight's shave was with a silky smooth razor, from Japan. It's made of german steel, and holds a very sharp edge. Two pass shave, without issues, just smooooth results.

I used my FW Engels this morning and got a great shave. Paired up with Chiseled Face ghost town barber, my old VDH boar brush and some Aqua Velva musk, I'm set for the day!

Just got a new Friodur in the mail yesterday. This one has an ivory colored handle. Shaves very nice. Also goes good with my black handle Friodur.

Maiden shave with the Friedr Herder this morning. It was a little less sharp than I thought it would be so there was more than the usual touch ups to get that nice, smooth finish. It was also time to replace the soap as it was the bottom of the puck and a little too soupy. Next time I take it out it will have had a light refresh on some diamond spray and felt and better lather. :happy088:
