Wade & Butcher Spanish Tip 5/8
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Pinaud Clubman

The VDH Luxury Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Bunny B-400 Boar brush. I did two passes the Wade & Butcher Spanish Tip 5/8 razor, and with the exception on one little cut, I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor: Portland Razor Co Chimera / Supply Provision Custom 3 dot head
    Blade: Chick
    Strop: Drygulch 45
Brush Handle: B-400 The Brush by Tom
    Knot: APShaveCo Tuxedo
    Soap: Eufros Jabonman GEA
    Post Care: Thayers Witch Hazel
    Alum
    Osage Rub
    Aftershave: Eufros Jabonman GEA balm

Another wonderful and relaxing shave this morning. My first use of an Eufros product and I see why it is in such demand. The soap was easy to lather, offered great protection, a wonderful scent and was one of the slickest soaps I've ever used. Both razors just glided across my face. One pass with the Supply and two with the Chimera and I'm close to BBS. It's getting easier to use this Chimera. Alum was mostly silent, slight tickle on my lower neck. The Eufros balm was nice; not greasy with a wonderful albeit short lived scent. I've been directed to a cologne that matches this scent pretty closely that I need to order. Have a great day folks!

IMG_0913.JPG Old W&B that I honed up this afternoon. Yep, that's right. Just Village Barber oil and a straight. Quick, easy BBS. If you have never tried it, you should. Use about 2-3 ml of oil on a wet face. That's it. Rinse face and wipe off blade between passes. Towel dry your face and don't rinse after done. Just don't do this too often, or your soaps/creams/brushes, etc. will get jealous!

I used my Henry Sears and Son razor this morning. It's a talkative blade and provides plenty of feedback. Wonderful shave!

First shave with a newly restored and honed Wade&Butcher. It just didn't cut it ( pun intended) on the first pass :( So I'm going to send this one back to get stoned...

    Soap: Saponificio Varesino Arctic Tundra
    Post Care: Thayers Witch Hazel
    Alum
    Osage Rub
    Fragrance: JPD Oud Noir

Wonderful shave this morning to start off Sunday. I can't say enough good things about this soap, it lathers easily, offers excellent protection and glide. I've been searching for a while for a scent to match up with this soap and I think I found it. This Oud Noir has a wonderful woody scent with a slight citrus note, it matches the Arctic Tundra well. One pass with the Supply, two with the Chimera and I'm left with a DFS. Have a great day folks![IMG]

It sounds like you were able to bring the edge back after chipping this beauty. Good job.

I think you have me confused with someone else Brian, I never chipped this blade. If I did I'd still be crying.

With our correct. It was Keith. You have to same razor and he chipped his yesterday and honed it. I was traumatized to hear that and mistakenly posted when I saw your razor

New brush too. Looked like a 24 maybe 26, gonna have to grab the calipers from the garage because it's more like a 28 or 30 and lathers like a monster.
Still love it though. Nice and smooth on 2 days of growth. 20170430_025512_resized.jpg
