Nice shave this morning. This is my favorite brush, too much luxury for an ex grunt however so I don't use it as much as I should.

 

A little change of pace tonight, with some Japanese steel. Three passes to catch the baby

 

Tonight's shave was with a newly acquired, Restored, and freshly honed razor. I had serious doubts about this one. Whoever owned it, long ago, sharpened it to where the edge of the blade looked like a roller coaster. there was a smile in the middle, and a frown on both ends. Plus, the horn scales were all dried out. It got it all straightened out. Soooo, I had a beautifully smooth and comfortable 2 pass shave with almost BBS results. Excellent razor, for $12.75. I love these oldies.

Postman had a present for me today, new mayflower from L&L. Very nice scent.

 

Spyder inspired me to try more Japanese steel.Actually I have a hard time keeping my hands of Japanese steel.

Tonight's shave was with a freshly honed and prettified(for Me) razor. It was a "Rust Bucket". I had a super smooth 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS(I was in a hurry). I do like these Bengall Razors. They are built very well, with excellent steel.

Razor- Bengall. Hamburg Hollow Ground.
Brush- Unknown Vintage Boar. It's my "Mighty Mouse Brush". It might be small, but it lathers like the biggest brushes I have, and its super soft.
Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
Aftershave- Avon Spicy

 

Wade&Butcher quick, smooth two pass shave.
