What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

Today's shave was with a "Rat Razor" of mine. Not a looker, but it more than makes up for it with the shave quality. I had a very nice and smooth 2 pass near BBS shave. Very nice razor.

As part of my ritual today, I added the Proraso Pre Shave Cream after I washed my face. The Col Conk Lime Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #188 synthetic brush. I did the two passes with the Wade & Butcher Spanish Tip 5/8, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Tonight's shave was with an old French Rattler Razor. One of my Rat Razors. I had a very nice 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Zero issues. I like these old Rattler Razors, because they are unique, and very loud, plus, you don't see a lot of them.
