Put the kitchen toys to work, a beautiful sous vide pork roast, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce using the Instant Pot.

Did the typical Easter ham thing for lunch, but felt like a little breakfast for supper tonight. Put the cardiologist on speed dial and whipped up some homemade biscuits and a little fried pork products.

Closest we come to scrapple in Georgia is fried Spam.

That's not all that close. :) I forgot it was a PA thing when I posted earlier.

If you do ever decide to try it, get Habbersetts. Spam is closer to pork roll which is equally delicious.

Grew up with Spam. A couple slices pan fried with a couple eggs over easy on top - still like it.

    Case or Taylor?

I normally buy Taylor, but I did win a 6 pound log of Case at a block shoot and it was pretty good too. I am less particular about porkroll than scrapple. :)

I grew up on Taylor, but once we moved to Central NJ we started seeing Case in the store and gave it a try. I think it grills up better than Taylor, but it's all good!

Do they still sell Golden Circles bread up there? I remember as a child visiting an uncle who lived in Boonton, and that was their bread of choice. Good stuff.

I don't recall. Next time I go to the grocery store I'll take a look.

Don't put yourself out. I just remember it being very good, and it was unusual because the loaf was round instead of the usual square shape. Made for a great bologna sandwich when the bread and meat are the same shape.
