Plantation rums are great. My go to is their Grande Reserve (5 yr). Simply delicious! However, my favorite is El Dorado 12-yr old. Love the Demerara style rum........

    Sangria.
Yellow Tail Red Sangria. Apples and pears marinated in Cointreau, orange juice and two teaspoons of sugar since last Sunday, plus a can of ginger ale. Yeah, buddy!

Stopped by the liquor store tonight and bought some Crown Royal. I'm only an occasional drinker. I just felt like getting a good buzz tonight. A Crown and Coke at the end of a hard day make all my problems melt away lol

I watched my neighbor's house and pulled in his mail while they were away. He came over 'bout half an hour ago bearing the above tokens of his appreciation. The India Ale will be accompanying dinner this evening I'm thinking.

Having a glass of Appleton Estates Special Reserve while reading my newest book: "All The Gallant Men, The First Memoir of a USS Arizona Survivor" by Donald Stratton with Ken Gire
Mr. Stratton wrote the book to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor. Three hundred thirty five(335) men survived the sinking of the Arizona. At the time of the 75th Aniversary only five(5) were left.
He wrote the book to honor his 1,177 shipmates who died that awful December day and to educate those of us who wouldn't know the USS Arizona from the SS Minnow(of whom I'm sorry to say there probably are quite a few).
