What's your current "go-to" razor?

1960 gillette super speed its the only one i own due to cash shortage lol i would love to try an open comb

It's a vintage Gem micromatic open comb single edge, very aggressive but crazy sweet. One of my favorite shavers. I'll send you a couple of blades too. You just have to dry it after use, the blades are carbon and will rust.

For me i would say,that my go to is my "1925 Gillette New Improved Bostonian". Shaves very very gentle and thoroughly. I love it.

Too difficult to narrow it down to just one. I love my '60 Fatboy, a '62 Slim, a '41 Ranger Tech, and a 47-48 Aristocrat. I usually shave equally with each.

 

I try to rotate as well..but sometimes it feels as by doing it I'm not getting THE best shave I can get...but then again I'm enjoying experiencing my other razors...so...I guess it evens out

My rotation right now seems to be:
- Gillette Big Boy
- Gillette NEW SC,
- Gillette Slim
- Gillette Black Tip X3 (all steel).

The other 3-4 razors (incl. my EJ DE89L doesn't seem to get much love lately and may have to be sold off...)

 

My 'go-to' rotation of razors….
Mostly straights, at this point in time, as I'm in the process of developing the skill set.
However, my thinned DE herd consists of only these two, in rotation: 2011 Mühle R41; Merkur Futur

 

I use mostly the same two razors eveyday,but I sometimes change the handles,one of the joys of 3 piece safety razors..
Razors for today:
1st pass Cadet OC shave head w/Qball blade on a griestshaving brass "FAT" handle..
2nd,3rd & touchup passes Weber DLC shave head w/Viking's Sword blade on a Sabi T2 handle....
