whats your favourite vintage gillette?

I am going to give a cop out answer: The one that I am using at the time is my favorite.

Tough tough call. For simplicity and function - the VW Beetle of the razor world - the ball end Tech. (But I sure love the Fatboy, Slim, and Blue Tip as well)

 

My favorite Gillette by far is the injector they made, here's mine.

Interesting - looking at the injector style razor you can see the start of the evolution to the cartridge. Almost the same design elements.

 

Never really looked at one until you mentioned it Col., but now that I have you might be on to something. I can see some engineer going to one of the company pencil pusher/bean counters and saying " Hey boss, I think I've got an idea...."

 

The only vintage Gillete I own, so favorite by default, is my P4 Super Speed. (Birth quarter razor) I just never really fell in love with any of them I tried, while I was searching out new razors, other than liking to look at them.

My two favorite shavers that I owned at one point were a New short comb, and a Pre-War Tech. Both of them were very good razors.
