What's Your Latest 100 Blade Purchase, And Why??

    100 Polsilver Super Iridium. I happened to re-visit them a while ago from a sample pack and got 10 terrific shaves out of one. Got a great deal as well from RBC (Razor Blades Club) 100ct for $16.95 & free shipping. Their website is kind of klunky, but I received the order within the stated time frame.

    That should be my last bulk buy for some time as I've got plenty of other blades in my rotation that perform just fine.

    I have a acquisition disorder
    Was looking for milder blades to add to cache
    They have a cool label
    Picture is from maggard I bought them elsewhere

    Feather - I really like these blades.
    Then I bought a sampler lot - 200 blades - and experienced a wide variety of steel. I have now gone back to Feather - my first 100.
    Lesson Learnt: Choose your first 100 carefully!

    I have had few disappointments with blades, in the past. I watched what others were using, and preferred, then ordered. My newly made favorite was the Gillette 7 O'clock Yellows.
    The vintage were even better. These were Wilkinson Sword Super Swords, and Gillette Spoilers.

    I’ve also recently bought rapira lux, Astra, Wilkinson sword (India) , lord platinum class.
    To accompany voskhod.

    All at what I consider bargain prices.

    Not to distract but I started a thread “bladewatch” (baywatch, babewatch) And you can see recent finds there.

    will reveal some good data.

    200 - Feathers because they work
    nice. My go to DE blade.

    100 - 7 O'clock yellow to try out.
    So far, they aren't quite as
    sharp.
    but do an OK job.
