Why are Single Ring Gillettes hard to find but GEM 1912's easy find?

The Gillette Single Ring came before the GEM 1912 and was "Known The World Over" but it's a much harder razor to find. GEMs on the other hand are so easy to obtain. Is there any reason for this?

The single ring, aka old type, are plentiful. Where are you looking?

There are at least 100 GEM 1912's for every Single Ring. One Single Ring might sell every couple of days is all I'm saying. I still don't understand why they are a rare/harder to obtain razor other than the Gillette logo being not being easy to read.

They aren't rare or harder to obtain. I'm looking at 10 different ones on eBay right now.

Single rings are easy to find. Now a double ring is another story. As is a Super speed from the mid 80's , now those babies are hard to come by.
