Why can't you add photos to an existing post?

Just like the title says.
For instance, I would like to post some photos of my den on my existing Showplace thread, but...not allowed. I would have to delete the post and start all over.
Any particular reason why not?

You can only put ten pictures in a post.

Edit: And there is a limit to the size of a picture.

 

Can you just copy the text then paste it into a new post with your photos?

why can't I upload a 3.4mb jpeg taken from my phone? can anyone help?

 

It's too big. If you use talpatalk you can upload any pic though

Too large. You'll have to make the file smaller.
I had the same problem. I downloaded the Pixlr app and can now save my phone pics as small and load 'em up to TSD.

 

Adjust the photo size on your computer and then upload file I have a Mac and just use the Preview program and tools and adjust the size.

If you take a screenshot of the photo, it reduces it's size greatly.
