    I think, the confusion comes from the missmatch on page 246 in the Krumholz book. But everybody I know received a 41 Aristocrat without endcaps in this Regent Tech case. So I think the pic in the Krumholzbook is wrong.

    Has anyone contacted Mr Krumholz about the error on page 246. It would be interesting to see what he has to say about this controversy.

    I like the sound of your theory Rick. It looks like you may have it nailed.

    As for the Krumholz book. It is a valuable quick reference guide but it is full of errors and an almost complete lack of information on British razors. Another glaring mistake is the President in the Executive case (page 249) which has confused more than its fair share of people. Quite a few of the razors have the incorrect blade packs pictured.
