Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day. On this day we remember that Nazi Grmany wiped out a third of world Jewry as well as those deemed undesirable; Gypsys, those that were mentally and physically handicapped and anyone who opposed their barbaric regime. NEVER AGAIN!!
In addition to the six million that the socialists killed in Germany and Poland, we must also never forget the 20 million who were slaughtered by other socialists in Russia. May all honest men oppose tyranny. All that it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing.
Let us also not forget that during the same time period (Following the invasion of China by Japan in 1937) as the events in Europe, an estimated 10 million Asians lost their lives at the hands of the Imperial army.
Yes if course. As well as the millions of deaths which followed capitalist France's reestablishment of its Indochina colony, and the refusal of the capitalist United States to allow democratic elections after 1954. And though I'd be happy to blame all of the deaths from WWI on capitalism it might be best to just accept Holocaust Remembrance Day as a worthwhile observance even given its limitations. That too, the pillage of the Korean and south China was true evil, and in many cases eclipsed the sheer cruelty of the horrors in Europe.
We all need to remember this for what it is. A horror that should never be allowed to be repeated, by any people, for any reason upon any other group of people, ever again.
Let's also not forget the uncounted millions lost to Mao Tse Tung's Communist experiments, where he did similar to Stalins Russification.
