Dr. Grabow Duke with Bayou Morning. I am not a fan or straight pipes, but the Duke works good for a quicker smoke on the way to work.
I have several of them. They tend to get hot quicker then some, but that is never a problem really. This little one does it's job very well.
Yesterday, first pipe in a while. Picked up some Captain Black and enjoyed a bowlful while waiting for the Mrs. shopping. Used my "car" pipe, a basket pipe Algerian briar poker (tons of putty fills, but it smokes great). Really unlike me to be into aromatics but I feel a "phase" coming on. Sorry no pics guys.
Peter Stokkebye Optimum in my petite Peterson. The dryness and age (several years) of the tobacco along with a strong wind made this bowl smoke a bit hot. Capt. Black in my Big Ben. Using a Denicotia 9mm filter the pipe smoked like ice even with the sugars in the tobacco trying to run hot.
P&C sent a $50 coupon code to apologize for the screw-ups on my IPSD order. That combined with a Tobacco Tuesday special on half a dozen VaPer tins and a current 20% off special on Mac Baren tins enticed me to place an order today. I threw in a pouch of Mixture 79 because I thought I should try it, it's one of those blends people either love or hate. My tobacco stockpile is growing.
Peter Stokkebye Pistachio in my Big Ben. My other pipes are looking at me and grumbling that I used the same pipe 2 days running.
No picture but on the way to work today loaded up my MM Country Gentleman with some C&D Tuggle Hall. Awesomre heavy Latakia blend. Made fighting traffic mo gooder!!
