Well, I sold off a ton of stuff from my den that doesn't see any use. Those funds pretty much were all sent to the Isle of Mann as fast as they came in.

Indian Old Spice aftershave and shaving cream. All the talk made me curious, and it was affordable...

 

Restored Genco. Sent it out for a hone, but it had cell rot starting behind the pin.

 

That is a really nice bargain lot. Meaning the price was a bargain - the lot is awesome.

 

Yeah..The Guy that I got it from is in his late 60s..He sent me a PM yesterday & said it will shave from the Box..He reckons the edge on these will hold for at least 6 months with daily stropping & bit of paste occasionally..I wont be using it anything like daily..He also said that you need a particular set of skills to hone these ones & advised me to send it back to him at a Low Cost..Happy Days by the Sounds of it..

Do these come shave ready from China or only if purchased from U.S. seller ? If so who ?

 

I got mine from a UK Seller that has Reworked this razor and set the bevel..They are not shave ready when they come from China..Some need a lot of work apparently...This USA EBay seller does them with a Guarantee..

I should either be really happy...or worried...that I'm always the only one that bids on these old metal cartridge razors.
This one was $5...and the one I bought before this about $1.

This is a Wilkinson WII by Sir Kenneth Grange (again) and is, along with the Protector, my favorite types of handle.

 

I won these today. Couldn't pass up the deals.










This lot was mostly to flip. I know of the rolls razor and I know about the gem ( looks nos?) but these two other razors.. I'm not familiar with. They are unusual to me.
