    SOTD Tuesday 2/23

    Razor-Merkur 39c
    Blade-Astra SP
    Brush-Strongset (WD black badger)
    Soap-Maggard Mango Sage Tea
    AS-Pinaud Clubman
    Bowl-World Market

3rd shave with the Merkur and the result is a smooth, smooth BBS again. That's the relatively worked shaves in a row. Today was a 3-pass (WTG, XTG, ATG). The result is as smooth as it gets, even brushing my hand ATG on my neck reveals nothing but skin, no stubble. I like the Maggard soap, but the scent is very light, I wish it was stronger. Off to the salt mine.

Thank you! The WD knot is very soft, but it really lathers great. It was my first attempt at a restore.

Great set up! I like the Maggard soaps .. they are made by artisan Maria Arman (Through The Fire Fine Craft) right there in Michigan. I have the London Barbershop and the scent and performance are top notch

    SOTD for Tuesday February 23rd..............

TOBS Avocado face lathered w/Omega Pro (The Omega Pro is a little large and messy for face lathering but it's still a great brush)
    '55 Super Speed w/Astra SP blade (3rd)
WH rinse followed by Nivea Cooling ASB finishing w/a splash of Floid aftershave

    2-passes for a comfortable DFS!

Thank you, too. You're right about their soaps, easy to lather, great scents. I have to be careful with the London Barbershop, my wife says the scent gets her all "hot and bothered".

    Tuesday:
hot shower w/Grandpa's Orange Essence bar soap
    Maggard Sweet Orange PSO
    Bunny V3 2+ passes
    Schick (1)
    Dubl Duck boar
Musgo Real Orange Amber cream in a warm bowl
    Humphreys Citrus WH
    Fine L'Orange Noir A/S

First shave with the Bunny. I ignored the advice of others to start with the Mild comb and instead started with the Notso comb. Not too long ago I shaved with my Schick H model for the first time so it only took me a moment or so to get used to the angle. While I don't have the time this morning to give a long review I do want to note a few things.
I got a very good close shave - this was a typical injector type shave where you realize not immediately, but 30 minutes or more after your shave, just how close it was.
I should have started with the Mild comb - I ended up with a couple of weepers.
I smell great - (like you guys care).
I'm looking forward to using this razor some more and following it's continuing development.
Speaking of continuing development - The head is somewhat bulky but the only real place I had trouble was just beneath my nostrils where it's hard to tell when my moustache stops and where my nose hairs begin. I couldn't quite get as close as I would have liked. Secondly, the handle is completely smooth so I wasn't as sure with my grip. I'm thinking it would benefit from an improved grip.
Gotta get back to work so again, sorry for the abbreviated review but I had a great first shave with a razor that has a bright future.
