Great score. Where did you acquire it ? I have a U.S. version. The Brit. ver. is harder to come by here.

 

Thanks! I live in Turkey and I've bought it from an antique store. Most razors I saw in antique stores or flea markets are from Europe generally.

 

This is how you end up with three "Sword" Wilkinson sword razors....

1) You buy one months ago as you really like the sword logo on the handle..but it's NOS/NIB and you're hesitant to open it...,
2) You find a second one..happens to also be boxed..but you buy it to open and use it!
3) You open the second one..but there's a little piece broken and the razor rattles...
4) The seller of the second one sends you another one for free.

I saw one of these but it's grey and it has the boxed cartridges . It came in a box case not bubble wrap. I was gonna pm you and see if you were interested.. Or did I already show you in a thread about a month ago?

 

The ones w/out the large sword logo on them are not too rare and can be commonly found for 7-10 dollars.
These ones with the sword logo are a bit harder to find but still only about 10-15 dollars.

You need to buy a fourth now as 3 is an odd number. And then a 5 as well 5 is better then 4. And then...

 

I hauled a red injun 101 straight razor by h.boker. I was able to win it cheaply because it has a broken scale.
my plan it's to have a set of scales made for it.
I'll post pics when it's done, nobody wants to see a broken Boker. and I certainly don't want to be called a, broken Boker boaster.
although if y'all hit the like button you may be a, broken Boker boaster booster

I was wondering how are the Country Club soaps? never tried them, but they have some interesting scents.

 

I've heard great things, this is my first one. Getting ready to use it now

 

Received this yesterday and I planned on shaving with it today. Too bad it is useless. Won't hold a blade tightly. I'm waiting for my return label, oh well.....
