I'm feeling pretty privileged to be shaving for the next week or so with one of the only Bunny razors in circulation. Bunny? What? OK, it's a long story but fellow Denizen @twhite has machined his own design injector razor. Watching it go from idea to reality has been a blast. Now he has some of these handmade beauties out on a pass around (see link in my signature for details.)

One thing I can say about the Bunny is that it is like my PAL Injecto Matic or PAL Adjustable in that I think it finds a way to cut whiskers below the skin line. Really, a BBS with these razors lasts a long time. :D

I only had a light beard to work with so I used the Mild comb. The headline? A super close shave with all of the face rubbing goodness that that brings. :happy036:

Like yesterday, it was like wiping the whiskers away. With the right angle and pressure you'd swear you are just brushing them off at will. :git:

The leftmost lantern above held after shave (Product ID 3735) and the center lantern held lime (Product ID 3525). Both were sold from 1973 to 1975. The green bottle on the right held after shave (Product ID 3632).

I was sure one of them contained Lime. Hard to tell the difference in the colours.

I am thinking of getting a case for it and keeping it to show off in the den. The Fatboy has been my dream razor since I feel down this rabbit hole of wet shaving and I told myself even if I don't like the shave it gives I want one just because of the history/looks... Bonus for me it shaves like a dream so now I need another one to case and never use as I am honestly a little nervous about using it as I don't want anything to happen to it. So I need a just for looks fatboy and an everyday Fatboy and I will be happy.

The Futur is amazing!!! I love the look/feel/shave it has/gives. Until I get a second Fatboy I will be grabbing the Futur more often as well.

That's funny my Futur was a gift from my wife as well :)

    SHAVE OF the day
    20160223_175334(0).jpg

Prep: shower with RazoRock son of Zeus soap
    Razor: Gillette ball end tech
    Blade: Bic Chrome (4th shave)
    Brush: RazoRock plissoft
    Soap: HTGAM Bay Rum
Post: Osage Rub/ Ogallala Bay rum lime & peppercorn

2 pass shave, the soap made a nice lather, got thru the shave without any irritation or nicks. The Ogallala Lime & peppercorn is a nice scent, and one of my favorite Bay rums. Hope everyone had a great shave!

I love the shampoo-I was fretting this summer, because I needed a fall/winter shampoo for backup to my Clubman. So glad I found Suave Heritage. It's vintage stuff for the modern man who LIKES vintage stuff. That is me.

    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

The Proraso Green Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Semogue Owners Club boar brush. Two passes with my new Gillette Blue Tip razor and a Astra SP blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I just realized I should have posted this here as well as the newbie section. Tonight I did my first ever DE shave thanks to Linuxguile and the fine people in this forum. I'm not bleeding so I guess that's a plus. I first went with the grain, then across then against lathering each time. It wasn't until going against the grain that I realized to get a good lather you need to really work the brush. As soon as I did the lather exploded on my face. It will take some time to get the angle down, there is some irritation but no more than with a disposable but, this is the first time I've really ever enjoyed a shave. Before this, it was just a chore. Thank You to everyone here who has taken the time to answer any questions or give advice. I'm glad to have started my journey here.[IMG]
