Shaved with a 9/8 Wade & Butcher, like always gave a very smooth clean shave.

Wostenholm & Son 6/8" frameback…newly-honed and first shave with it this morning.

 

today I used the third of my honing class of 16.
it's;
KB Extra #67 4/8 spike end.
after shaving with this razor,I think it's a half hollow grind.
when I examined it to begin, it looked like a full hollow. but it definitely had a different feel on the face. so I'm assuming it was ground differently.
the shave was close and comfy, but I did miss the audio feedback.
please correct me if my assumptions are incorrect. thank you.

 

I concur. Half-hollow.

 

Got an custom update pic from Tim Z. today. It officially looks like a straight razor now. The wheels of progress are indeed turning.

Wow, BBS already. Congratulations.

 

Thank you! Everything just hit. Alum was hot around the edges and neck, but BBS indeed. Tomorrow I will chase it with the Aust.

 

This one I've had ordered since last May Robert. It has been accounted for in the Grand Tally .

 

Looks fantastic Mike, what scales are you going for and obviously a covered tang to match.

today I used;
Eaton 85 Diamond Edge 5/8 full hollow spike

I broke out of the class of 16. I wanted to check my progress.
yesterday I continued my efforts in honing by redoing the edge on my wosty. but I didn't want to use a half hollow two days in a row. so I chose the diamond edge.
it performed wonderfully.
