WEDNESDAY This fine razor somehow fell out of my regular razor rotation(!). That oversight has been fixed! The big round-point F.W. Engles 'Leader' is a smooth, comfortable razor that yielded a near-BBS 3-pass shave. L'Occitane Cade lather and Musgo Real No.3 finish. Excellent shave! Have a happy Hump Day, all!

SOTD: Wednesday, February 24 Proraso Sapone Simpson M6 Manchurian Aesop Bowl 1921 Gillette Big Fellow Personna Med Prep (3) Proraso AS & Balm Grabbed the Aesop Bowl for the first time in about a year. Results were excellent. The Manchurian picks up a lot of soap and whips it into a very lovely, albeit a bit light (airy) for my tastes. Nevertheless, excellent results. The Big Fellow is a real work of art. Fun to use and every bit as good a shaver as today's equipment. I am still titanicing my way through the Proraso products. Almost there. Three pics today. My shave of the day. Prep - hot face wash Razor - 46-47 aristricrat Blade - vintage Gillette super stainless ( the spoiler) (4) Brush - trader joes synthetic Soap - tabac Post - witch hazel, trader joe balm Cologne - citrus musk - what can say ... Simply fantastic shave.. The razor is awesome. The blade was great on its 4th shave. The soap.. Well im still trying to get it slick.. But I'm a happy person today. No irritation. Two weepers one was a small pimple. The audio feedback on this razor is somethings I didn't expect. Most of the razors I have that I've used don't have much audio to them. I wasn't going to shave with this razor today as I was committed to my 7day focus on each razor, but I couldn't help it.. Thanks @Robyflexx .. Lol you gave the small nudge to get me to do it.. Now I don't want to finish my focus 2 days in... Happy shaving gents!

Feb. 24/2016 Razor: Gillette Tech(jmaier). Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux.(3) Brush: VDH Badger. Cream: Proaso White (tube). Oil: Homemade(orange scent). AS: Nivea balm. 8 the hard way. I hate saying this over and over, BBS,BBS,BBS. Two passes, 1st straight away WTG, 2nd pass ATG, with a small amount of clean up. It just keeps getting better. My only problem is it`s becoming too quick,(sometimes I need quick if my meds start to fail), but a happy camper am I!! As Rufus said, his shadow was still hidden after 12 hrs.(I think). Mine doesen`t last quite that long but it doesn`t show until middle of the evening. Kudos to jmaier. Bill
