RazoRock Mission / Rapira Platinum Lux
    Razorock Plissoft
    Arko
    CWR and Nivea sensitive ASB

First off WOW what an amazing shave! The Plissoft is an amazing face latherer. Loading it with the Arko for 15 seconds made so much thick creamy lather that I had to rinse my razor off after every stroke on the first pass, and it held so much lather I probably could have had 6+ passes with some to spare. The Arko was so cushiony and slick and I find the scent much more enjoyable once it is lathered. The lux is defenitley a top shelf blade in my books, not quite as sharp as the GSB but just as smooth as the Astra SP and believe it or not the RR Mission is just a tad more efficient then the Merkur 34C. Two passes WTG and XTG and I had only one little spot under my chin that need touch-up to leave me with DFS. Enjoy your shaves and your day everyone!

  4. Thursday Shave

    prep-Dial 4 Men Bodywash(in shower)
    cream-Barbasol original
    A.S.-Wm. Neumann 1911 sampler
    razor-same ol Gillette Sensor 2 Pivot +

Post-shave show:: Those samplers are hard to work for me without my glasses(I didn't have them on this morning). As a result, I got too much out. But it's a nice A.S. indeed. I was surprised by the clear-colored liquid-thought it would be brown to match the sampler vial. I think with these samplers, it'll one, two, and out.

  6. The Satin Tip is an overall better brush. The Trader Joe's brush is more stiff and doesn't seem to lather as well as the Satin Tip. It's not a bad brush by any means. I was using it this week to try and hone in on its properties. It came as part of a kit from Trader Joe's that included the brush, a sandalwood-type soap (very soft, good scent) and a balm for $9.99. Really good deal.

  15. I'm glad your blade poll steered you towards a good one! I think Rapira blades are great. I also enjoy Arko and have shaved with it a good bit with great success. Congrats on a good combo of products!
  16. It's a very soothing clean, crisp lime scent, not overpowering but perfect to awaken the senses. I confidently recommend it Andrew. :)

Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock Super Platinum
    Lather: Route 66- Retro Spice
    Brush: RazoRock Plissoft

    Aftershave: Route 66- Retro Spice
I don't repeat a shave very often, but when I do it's always with superb products. Retro Spice is what's needed for not only my face, but for my head shave as well. Why? I need a soap that is not only slick and cushion-y, and offers off the charts skincare. 3 pass smooth as silk shave! It's really hard for me to stop at 3 passes when the lather is good and the razor is fine tuned. I can't wait for the aftershave balms to hit the market!!

  18. So many people love the Route 66. I think I will have to experiment with a few samples. I typically like lighter citrusy scents, what would a few that you all would recommend?
