Yes they are and they always keep things interesting to say the least.

 

It's a fantastic injector razor I think. I got two now (a black one and a blue one) and really like how they shave with the old Schick Twin blades in

Where do you get the twin blades? I can only find them on the bay and there a bit spendy. What`s your mileage on them (might be worth it).

Yeah the only way I know of is on the bay as they are long discontinued - unless Mr Twinblades @Billyfergie knows of another source.
I'd say 6+ shaves but I think that is extremely subjective as some will probably switch earlier..and some use them for much longer.
They are however the best blades I've ever used in any injector

Brush - Semogue 1200 Boar. Good back bone, very nice for face lathering.
Razor - Gillette Black Tip - A wonderful razor. It is like this razor was made for my face. Blade angle, heft, handle length are perfect. I always get a great shave with this razor.
Blade - Baili. I believe these come out of China. Sharp. I get good shaves without concern with nicks or cuts. Good for 3 or 4 shaves.
Scuttle - Dirty Bird brush scuttle. Two piece. Nice colors. Keeps the lather toasty warm.
Soap - Strop Shoppe Barbershoppe. One of my favorites. Scent, lather, cushion, slickness, post shave feel are top-notch.

The Proraso Green Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Semogue Owners Club boar brush. Two passes with my new Gillette Blue Tip razor and a Astra SP blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

I've been waiting all day to do my birthday shave, I got off work early to go to the wife's doctor appointment and hit major traffic and didn't get home in time. Then I was thinking I could do it after the doctor and before dinner but we ran long at the doctor. Now I'm getting ready to sit down to a nice dinner and just keep wishing I was clean shaved already. I would have had time for a cartridge shave but that wasn't going to happen. I think I'm officially hooked. Looks like it's going to have to wait until after dinner.

2/25/16 - Gaelic Morning!!

I am Very Impressed with WSP Gaelic Tweed Rustic Shaving Soap.
A great buttery lather that has lots of cushion and good slickness. All of that with only 5 ingredients!!



The scent is a fresh, deep green, leafy smell off the puck that changes to a clean lighter scent on the face. I really really like this stuff!! It is supposed to have the scent of Creed's Irish Tweed but without the top notes.
The edt is now on my list! Haha

1946-55 Schick Type G Injector is a nice little razor that provided a BBS in 3 passes.



Splashed on Speick with its green, citrusy and lavender scent and sprayed on a little Brut edt to finish it off.

My new Haul came in from Italian Barber today and I'm so happy. I might as well put these great items to good use, right? Wow - this new Plissoft is a stunning-looking brush, the Don Marco soap smells delicious, and so does the Black Powder aftershave. I was telling a couple of guys that I'm so pumped to give this Plissoft brush its maiden voyage!
