What are you waiting on to arrive...?

I just ordered a 620. Apparently they are similar. I'm looking forward to a boar brush that hopefully doesn't shed drastically.

 

I think it's great for face lathering! I used it for the first time this morning and it works great. It seems stiff as a post but after a short soak softens up nicely. A little scratchey but splays easily and really makes some lather! Looks like a madmans hair when you finish. I'm thinking you're going to like it.

 

Yes it's a 620, I read it's good for face lathering and that's what I'm in to.

Here it is after 1 shave, it has a nice fan shape.

 

Makes me second guess myself about ordering the 620. This brush is fine looking.

 

I think it's the same thing just a different handle.

I just read something about the 620 being 75%tops... The 830 is slightly longer ... And it breaks in faster than the 620. The 620 has a stiffer backbone..

 

I need backbone, I can't stand floppiness.

 

O I hear ya! I have a Parker badger and that thing is not only larger but just spread open down to the not.. I've only had it a year and only used it a handful of times. I'm lathering with it and it opens so much it covers my entire cheek..

 

Man that's a shame because they are nice looking brushes. They actually get good reviews on Amazon. Are we in the minority liking backbone or do these amazon buyers just not know any better?

 

My wife is dead set on Amazon reviews, but I told her I trust the reviews I get here because you all have probably more experience than those people . I mean just look at most of the dens here.. Lots of razors, blades , soaps and brushes

 

Yup, these guys know where it's at for sure. Chances are if your looking to try a new product, someone here has been there and done that.

 

Isn't that the reason you are going to gym everyday?

 

Some people give two stars because the package took a long time to arrive or shipping was expensive. Lots of disgruntled buyers. I think forums are better sources of information.

I think I have RBAD.

I know I love the Astra SP and the GSB. Wanted to try the nacet and super stainless and platinum. Never heard of the goal. I don't really need more to try though, I still have 20 ish different blades yet to try before these lol

 

I just bought this FIRST English 3 Inch Cow Hide Strop for £29.00..Its a Corker for the Doe..Its 3.8 mm thick..Cant be Bad at That..
