today's shave was very nice. Arko even smelled a little better (maybe my mood). y'all can't deny it's performance. three passes for a super smooth comfy shave. finished with clubman, classic.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

Apparently I still have pimples at age 52, so the shave mowed down the top of one on my chin and I had to use the styptic pencil!

This is becoming my favorite soap! Wow does it make an awesome lather and smells like a nice Cologne. SWMBO loves the scent as well which is always a plus. WTG then XTG in both directions, ended with a CCS today. The Proraso green AS always leaves the skin feeling great. Had absolutely no burn today from the alum. Mission accomplished everyone, enjoy your shaves and your day!

FRIDAY
Early morning shave today with a vintage CMON 'Blackie,' RazoRock XXX soap, Stirling synthetic brush and TSD mentholated 'Cool Waters' aftershave milk. 'Old-timey' barbershop scent of the XXX isn't my favorite scent, but the lather was quite good. Overall, a great shave!

I'm in heaven - what a brush this Plissoft Synthetic is. It whipped up so much beautiful lather from the Don Marco soap which smells so beautiful and helped me get a great BBS shave. The Black Powder aftershave from Folsom & Company is a beauty - it smells magnificent, and it's very cooling!
