I'm going to have fun with making my Wm. Neumann choice(s)....it'll be like being the judge at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show's Best In Show round . Tough call here, but an early thought is that I may prefer the Balms to the Lotions(unless the latter has a tiny hole to prevent too much from coming out at once). Finishjed the 1911 Sampler, now on to the Heartwood.

Wow, what a cream Speick is - it provides an impressive refreshing after shave feel like my favorite tallow soaps. Aces!

Inaugural run with the Futur. Effortless and enjoyable. With the amount of blade exposure and blade gap, I was weary of the aggressiveness. I set it to 2 and made my first pass down my sideburn. Smooth! Damn that was smooth! I heard the blade but didn't feel it, just the head of the razor sliding down my cheek. Two passes and very nice results.

My only complaint so far is the handle is SLICK! (That and the numbers don't click in and stay solid like the Gillette's) Now, I won't totally blame the pretty shiny chrome because I did have some lotion on my hands. So I'll make sure my hands are clean tomorrow first.

 

Great idea on putting the Arko in a pill bottle, I've been racking my brain trying to come up with something to hold it.

My shave of the day

Razor - black beauty v-2 ss ( birth razor)
Blade - Gillette super stainless ( the spoiler )
Brush - trader joes synthetic
Soap - proraso green ( mixed with Cremo )
Post shave - witch hazel, neutrogena bam
Cologne - lilac vegetal

Shave was eh. Got a nic and a few weepers plus some irritation. I'm not sure if it's the razor or the blade as it has 5 shaves on it. Overall decent shave. It could have been better.
