What the heck, I think I'll post now for tomorrow! Saturday morning: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26 mm Super Speed/Astra day 6 Stirling Glacial Obsidian SS Stirling Glacial Obsidian AS Balm Barrister & Mann Arctique AS Kras'n'aya Moskva Cologne This is a setup which only Menthol Monkeys with the toughest of endurance can tolerate and enjoy - man oh man, is that Glacial Obsidian soap ever an iceberg on steroids, and so is the matching aftershave balm. The Arctique aftershave splash needs to be applied very carefully and sparingly because its freezing power is to an extreme which has not yet been matched by any other product, to my knowledge. Its skincare is excellent in addition to that frigidness and it smells great. The Kras'n'aya Moskva (Red Moscow) was a gift from an aunt of mine last year.
2/26/16- Old School Lilac!!! Maggard Razors Lilac. A wonderful soap and scent. A beautiful floral aroma that permeated through out the shave den!! 1912 GEM. This was my first SE razor that started me on the SE Journey. Just a great shave. Video here:
I don't blame you, my man. Since two days I didn't freeze and that's too long for me. The Paradise Frost has no real chill to it - just a slightly cool tingle, and the Don Marco soap I used today has absolutely NO menthol in whatsoever so this time I'm going all-out!
Tomorrows planned SOTD Merkur Futur-setting 6/Lab Blue (3) JR #23 Silvertip Brush Combined lather from Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill and CF's Cryogen Fine Snakebite Aftershave A quite chilly setup for tomorrow if I do say so myself. I am really loving the Futur and have the feeling it may become my daily driver. This will be the Lab Blues fourth and final shave before it goes in the blade bank. I already know my JR #23 is going to make short work of any soap/cream I put before it as it has yet to fail me on anything so far (should give it the Williams test soon) but the thing I am most looking forward to tomorrow is the face freezing, brain numbing, borderline painful cold lather that awaits me! The Snakebite is a menthol atom bomb in its on right but it may feel like the summer sun compared to the lather I'll be whipping up. Does this get the @crackstar frozen seal of approval?
