AHHH!!! Well HUGE day for me. I got my first business client today! I have had about 8 people ask to do tax returns, but the business accounting is what creates constant income. This is all within the last week! I am terrified, but so excited!
Caught a cold a few days ago. As always, it was followed by a bout of bronchitis (a problem since childhood). I went to the doc yesterday & started a course of medication. Still sick, but a little less so, today.

Woke up early to text a "good morning" to mah baby, who's 1,182 miles away, snoozed a bit more...got out of bed an hour later & made coffee...did some grocery shopping...got my bike inspected...then came home to a glorious morning in the Hill Country... No place but Texas.
Went to a family bar-mitvza today, meet the relatives and spent time with the kids afterwards . Plan to finish it with a beer and a pipe outside. Great day!
My day has been long and I'm tired! Thursday and Friday I started a new parttime job and today I have been studying and tomorrow I'll study some more. My test is on monday, I hope it goes better this time around! I shouldn't have worked yesterday, it was a 12 hour shift... Its not heavy work but I do feel like 80% today. I wanna finish 2 more questions on this practice test and I'm done for the day its 8:45 PM though... Im tired! EDIT: Nope I'm done for the day!
Beautiful day today in Alabama! Warm temperatures and bright sunny sky. My mother-in-law gave us a family membership to the zoo as a Christmas gift for our 1 year old and us. We finally got around to going there today and starting the membership. It was a great day to walk around and enjoy the hint of Spring!
Had a good ride down to El Campo to see the grandkids & transfer some files to my boy's computer...got fat on fajitas from Los Cucos...had a good ride back to the ATX...then had some killer home-made bean soup...and started laundry. Looking forward to a hot shower and a sharp blade to take off two days' growth, and crawling into bed to finally get a regular full night's sleep.
Took my daughter this morning to get her driving learner's permit.....she's excited, and almost as nervous as me. Was about to hand her the keys and let her drive back to town, but then I got a text that there as a virus on the network, so I needed to haul tail back to work. You know that look on someone's face when they're both a little disappointed and quite relieved at the same time, LOL
