Had an excellent shave today. No cuts, alum was silent. Ended with a close comfortable shave. Now I'm off to CSU Pueblo for a fun friendly rugby scrimmage. Good day everyone!

Scuttle: Steve Woodhead Ceramics, large Suribachi.
    Soap: Wickham Southsea Spray.
    Brush: Razorock 24mm Plissoft.
Razor: 1940's Gillette English Service Set Tech head, Windrose handle.
    Blade: Voskhod (1).
Post: Superdrug Sierran Breeze ASL, Nivea sensitive balm, Nivea Crème.

I wanted to give my face time to recover after having a bit too close a shave on Friday, so today I chose a nice comfortable blade and razor combination. The soap performed very well with a lovely fresh scent and together with the other software has left me with a great post-shave feel.

A very comfortable and gentle BBS shave.

  7. Very nice setup @Scratch, the Tech head looks very :signs021:with that handle. :)

  8. Thanks @Robyflexx. I quite like it too. The head was worn down to the brass like that when I bought it and I'm debating whether or not to get it re-plated. It would look nice all shiny and new but I quite like it as it is too. Decisions, decisions! :)

  9. Leave it as is, it has a very cool steampunk look this way with that handle. :signs021:

    Razor: Schick J1
    BLADE: Ted Pella Inj.(1)
    Brush: Omega Syn.
    Cream: Proaso White Tube
    Oil: Homemade (orange scent)
    AS: Nivea Balm
Bowl: Pick up at antique shop

I had forgotten the difference between how a de razor and an injector works, much different technique. I am scheduled for "Bunny" next, so I thought I would practice a little to improve my performance. I want to give Tom the best review I can. The 1st pass, WTG straight forward (felt good from the start). The 2nd pass, ATG with WTG/XTG and slants here and there. The Proaso is fantastic, left my face nice and slick between passes. I must brag on my "Lady J", she is capable of doing "wheelies" anytime I need. All and all I think a BBS is in order. It has to be sinful for one to have this much fun.
