    image.jpeg Razor: Gillette 195 Fat Boy (f1) 1960 (5) (3)
Brush: Rubberset 400 #3 WD 24/50 Silvertip (Jedi Lightsaber)
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
    Cream: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle
    Blade: Feather (1)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, TOBS Luxury AS

Loaded some Bourbon Jungle on to the Silvertip, which was very fast, as this soap is softer than most, which I like. The Silvertip whipped up some nice thick warm lather, very fast, in my favorite mug. Very nice scent, not overwhelming, but nice. My FB as usual, made quick work in 2 passes WTG XTG. The lather was nice and slick, with good body, and with a little touchup on my neck ATG on 3, gave me a BBS shave! I had enough lather left over for another pass. For the money I see this soap as a great buy, as I have spent much more for less performance. Cleanup was also very nice as this soap does not leave a thick residue on everything as others do, nice! The WH felt good, nice and cool. Then some JB and when it dried, some TOBS Luxury AS. Y'all have a good one!

Well I fell of the wagon again. I was going to be focusing on 1 razor per week when I had 9 razors... But since now I have 14!! I couldn't resist trying the new ones!!

Prep - hot water face wash
Razor - The NEW red and black open comb
    Blade - Astra sp
    Brush - trader joes synthetic
    Soap - trader joes
Post - witch hazel , neutrogena balm
    Cologne - lilac vegetal

The shave went extremely well. Either my technique is slightly improving or the Astra sp and the razor play nice together. I got minimal irritation at the end.. ( chasing bbs) it wasn't until then that I felt it starting to get irritation. I did notice that either I or the blade was scraping. No tugging, just scraping . But I'm ok with that. There are a couple of patches where I didn't want to get razor burn so I stopped. I got minima burn with the witch hazel but in the areas were I was scraping. I'm a happy camper!
    Happy shaving gents!

Now THAT was a good write up, my friend. Sorry but I`m allergic to anything cold. I can`t even hold a bowl of ice cream without a napkin underneath. It is what it is. I guess. But I`m glad you enjoyed it.

Nice job young man, if you don`t mind, I`d like to suggest NOT chasing the BBS result too diligently, they will come. Trying is alright and a lot of fun, but not the means to the end. I thought your layout, picture and write up were top notch. Happy shaving to you too. We learn from our failures.

    Single Edge Sunday
Burham (1909 Patent) / Gem SS PTFE (5)
    Arko Stick
    Vie-Long 4312 Horsehair
Every Man Jack Mint Face Lotion
Old Spice Modern AS and Cologne
Yesterday's shave with the Schick N2 and a Chick blade on the 5th use was less than stellar, not at all what I am used to using any setup, much less a Schick. Today i sued the smallest lightest razor in my modest collection, the 1909 Burham. This is the 5th time I have used this little single edge and each time I have not been dissapointed with the quality of my shave. Today was no different, Dolphin smooth BBS, as good as it gets (AGAIG). This is a very simplistic design, a one piece razor where the blade just slides up under the spring and that's it. The one knock on this razor is the extremely thin handle and it's light weight. You have to make sure that you keep your hands dry or the handle can be slippery and hard to grip. This little known jewel is one of my most prized pieces I have, and it comes in the cardboard box with the instructions and original blade. The Arko stick was face lathered with my first Vie-Long horsehair brush, the 4312 which is very long and floppy but lathers like a beast. Post shave face feel is smooth and soft and the Old Spice left me smelling great. A shave that is TWGW approved.

Jorval, please, whatever you do, do NOT think that under any circumstance, that I`m an expert on anything. Just trying to help, I guess because the members here have been so helpful to me. Have fun kiddo.

    Another day testing the Bunny.

I had a little over 48 hours of beard today and this is the most I've put the Bunny up against. So, I stayed with the Wild comb. Once again, by the second pass I could have done some touch ups and had a better than average DFS. If this were any other day, I would have stepped down a notch or two to the Notso or the Mild comb for the third pass. But being this is a chance to push boundaries a bit on a new razor I kept the Wild comb in.

The big change with today's shave was the replacement of the twin NOS Personna II with a new Schick blade. No point beating around the bush, others have said it as well, this is a great combo. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it is the best combo period, full stop. The twin Personnas were not bad by any stretch but were more middle of the road in terms of being a smooth experience. They delivered wonderful results. But the Schick blade blew them away for sheer pleasure. :happy036:

There is no question in my mind that the Bunny provides a shave equal to the PAL Injecto Matic and my type H Schick. These are the King and Queen of my den in terms of shave closeness and smoothness. What neither of these have, however, is the ability to adjust the blade exposure to match the shaving conditions. I'd also rate the Bunny as superior to both on the ease of rinsing any clogging. And, let's face it, no other razor comes even close to mimicking the visual appeal of Jessica Rabbit .

Great picture and write up. The more I read about this razor the more wonderful it sounds. It has jumped to the top of my injector want list.

Prep: Hot Shower/ Dove Men's Face Scrub
    Pre-Shave: Proraso White
Soap: Tim's Soap Columbia River (trade from @JR Reyes )
    Brush: Semogue 1460 Boar
    Razor/ Blade: Merkur 1906/ Voskhod (1)
    Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
    Post-Shave: Soap Commander Integrity Balm
    Aftershave: Captain's Choice North
Great shave last night. The Columbia River scent smells amazing-- everygreen, lavender, musk, patchouli, and oakmoss. It pairs very nicely with Captain's Choice North which is one of my favorite aftershaves. The soap preformed very well and produced a nice lather. Not incredibly thick, but still very nice. The post shave was great. Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday!
